Lake Tahoe

So I think this pretty much catches me up to date! We went to Tahoe this weekend to see Melinda's new house. Yup, Jeremy's mom bought a house at Tahoe and she's all moved in! The house is so adorable and cozy...Jer and I had to tear ourselves away from it this afternoon to come home. We can't wait to get back there next weekend and celebrate a white Christmas with all of the English's and Day's!!!

Holiday Spirit

Paige, Lindsey and Kelli had a party at their house on Friday night. Here are just a few pictures before the party. Dawn came along to the party with Jer and I and let's just say that we all were in rare form! Thanks girls for hosting such a fun party!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

Our house is finally decorated thanks to our good friends and a few hours of sifting through boxes! Jeremy is OBSESSED with Christmas and so there is no way to get out of decorating ....this year we going to be in Yuba and Lake Tahoe for the holiday and so I wasn't as into decorating our house, but when your married to a man who thinks he is Santa you don't have much of a choice to get into the spirit!!

Christmas Decorating

Jeremy is more into "directing" than decorating...

Lindsey after a few of her pomegranate martini's...

I love this picture of Matt and Oli it is so sweet...

Here are some pictures from our annual Christmas Decorating Party!! Our talented Lindsey has been decorating our house for the past few years and it has evolved into a small gathering of friends who come to help us get the house together for the holidays.

30 years

Today is my parents 30th wedding anniversary and so I just wanted to wish them a happy day and congratulate them on this milestone! They truly are such wonderful people and I know I speak for all my siblings when I say that we are all so grateful for the life and love that they have given us throughout the years. I am so proud of them and all that they have accomplished together. I love you mom and dad and congratulations on 30 years!!!

Reno

I'm going to try and play a bit of catch up over the next few days being that I haven't blogged in forever. We've been super busy with the holidays fast approaching! Back in November we went to visit Jana at UNR. We had such a fun weekend hanging out with friends (Mike and Brooke live there), tailgating at the UNR vs. Boise football game, and visiting with Jan. Here are a few pictures from our trip. Stay tuned...I have more to come!

We're Back from Dancing with the Stars!!!

The girls and I had a fabulous time in LA. We started off our day with lunch at The Ivy and then headed over to see Dancing with the Stars!! After the show we went backstage and got to meet some of the dancers and let me just tell you Brooke Burke is so amazingly beautiful and tiny...If I could look like her after 4 kids I would never complain about a thing (that would of course mean that I would actually have to hit the gym and maybe a little bit of plastic surgery - haha). Lance Bass is even cuter in person and the girls and I are hoping that Lacy will straighten him out....literally....it's a shame he's gay, he's so darn adorable! Then after a fun time at the show we went to dinner at Beso, it was the perfect ending to such a fun day!!!

Dancin'

We're packin' up and heading out on Sunday to go down to LA to watch the semi-finals of Dancing with the Stars!!! Last minute my sis go 4 tickets so she and I are heading down south with my mom and Dawn for a couple of fun girls nights!! I can't wait for warmer weather and 2 day's of girl time. I'll be sure to post all of the juicy details of our getaway when we get back!

On another note...

Jer is off in Arizona again for work:( He been gone for a week and finally get's back tomorrow ~ I am so EXCITED!!! I hate being home by myself, its sooo lonely and I think that I drive everyone crazy when he's gone; I make my sister sleep with her phone in case i get scared and I practically live at Matt and Angela's after work, which I'm pretty sure is more fun for me than it is for them! But on a positive note, he is doing really well with his new job and I am so proud of him. You couldn't possibly imagine the hours that this guys is putting in. I am so grateful to have such a great husband and I miss him terribly while he is gone.

Pumpkin Patch

Paige and I adopted a family and tagged along to the Pumpkin Patch with Dawn and her kids on Sunday! Oh how I do love the fall; and the corn dogs, nachos, pumpkin cake, and pies that fill my stomach with each visit to the Pumpkin Patch. It's a really good thing that I only go there once a year!!! Here are some pictures from our visit...

Sam was so funny, he was riding the train like he was on a roller-coaster!!!

Busy, Busy, Busy

What a weekend!!!

It all stared off on Friday with our 2nd Annual Blake's Purpose Golf Tournament and what a day!!! We haven't had the chance to count all of the proceeds, however I am guessing that we raised somewhere between $225,000-$250,000!!!! I am so grateful for all of those who came out and helped me; this year I had so many wonderful friends show their support and it really made the day quite special!!!

So after a very long day Friday and a very good night sleep I took off for Yuba to spend the evening at my 10 year reunion! I can't tell you how much fun it was to see and connect with people I haven't see in ages! Below are a few pre-party pictures of Andrea, America and I. I actually have a lot more pictures to post of the actual reunion...however I took my small camera with me and now I can't find my cord to transfer the pictures, so stay tuned for a few more photos later on in the week.

And last but not least, Sunday night Jer and I met up with my sis, Andrea, her girls, and a few others to watch Lindsey perform here in Sac. Let me just tell all of you that this girl is amazing and she is so darn cute! If anyone ever gets the chance to see Lindsey perform I would highly recommend it!

4th Annual Bocce Ball Tournament

Every October Jeremy hosts a bocce ball tournament at our house. It's actually more like lawn bowling than bocce ball, but its a fun day nonetheless and it gets a bunch of our friends together which is always nice. When this event started 4 years ago there were no kids and no wives; it's amazing how quick 4 years goes by and to think of all that has changed in that amount of time. Here are some pictures from this years tournament:

Nancy getting in some "prep time" she is expecting her first child on March 20th!!!

Mason learning how to "tap the keg" at the age of 2 1/2. He is certainly his daddy's boy. Hopefully his mom doesn't hate me for posting this picture:

Nick and Evan reverting back to their high school days of doing keg stands...this happens more often then one might think...
