Look at this guy!!! He had a great weekend; he rocked Sac State with a grand slam on Saturday and a shutout on Sunday. Since the whole UNR team was in Sac for the games this weekend his parents used our house Saturday night to host a team dinner. I have never seen so much food consumed in such a small amount of time; remember when you could eat 2 hamburgers and 2 hot dogs in one meal and not gain a pound? Anyways, Brock is a such a good guy and virtually a part of this family, in fact I think my parents may choose him over their own kids some days! I'm glad that we were able to open up our house for him and his teammates and watch him play, he has had such a great season! On another note I had to get my house ready for the shindig on Saturday and since Jeremy is sick his dad came over and we spent the morning in the yard trimming trees and cleaning things up...it was a bit neglected. It was nice to spend some time with my father in law, he is so helpful and kind. He had a great time teasing me about my lack of knowledge when it came to all things green and growing and found total amazement in that my dad could make his living off of tree crops and I didn't know how to grow the 2 trees that are in our front yard. Don't you just need to give a tree some water and it will grow? :)
