We arrived in San Diego today for a long holiday weekend. I am going to try and update this throughout our vacation; that is assuming that I actually take enough pictures throughout the weekend to actually validate another post. These pictures were taken this evening at or on our way to happy hour with the fam. We are down here celebrating Brad's graduation which is tomorrow. Honestly it's a little hard to believe that my little pesky brother is graduating from college...where does the time go??? I'm feeling a little sentimental (partly because I have had a few cocktails) but also because the little brother that I feel like I have helped raise is graduating from college, it just seems so grown up! I can't express how proud I am of my brother or the man that he has become. I am so excited to have a nice long weekend with my family celebrating this milestone. (A weekend with all of the Jelavich's under one roof will proove to be interesting I'm sure...) Just to start the weekend off on a funny note; this evening after happy hour my dad walked my sister (Paige who is 27 years old) to a bar to meet a long lost girlfriend from 4th grade, he had to make sure that she wasn't waiting there by herself or that she didn't get stood-up by her 4th grade friend...it was so comical, almost like Paige was 5 years old again...maybe in his eyes she will always be his little girl, infact I am sure that he was just doing it as a protective father would, quite sweet, but also quite funny when my sister had to introduce her friend from 4th grade to her father who had walked her to a bar for safety and was hoarding a bag of sweet-rolls and baked goods from the bakery next door.
