Pop and his (newest) "pride and joy"
Pop turned 61 on Wednesday and so Jeremy and I wanted to wish him a Happy Birthday. Here are our 10 favorite things about Pop:
1. His willingness to help, Pop is the most giving person I know. True Story: when Jeremy and I first met I lived in a house and the yard needed some serious TLC, pop came over with Jeremy and spent the entire day at my house fixing up the yard and he barely even knew me.
2. He is a gentle soul; he is not afraid to shed a tear, or tell you how much he loves you.
3. His simplicity, he lives simply and wants for nothing. Truly amazing if you ask me, you don't find people like that anymore (myself included)
4. He loves his family and is so immensely proud of them, it is very sweet.
5. He is a hard worker.
6. Knowledge, the man has some knowledge! If you ever play cranium don't let him draw, but keep him on your team for the trivia, he knows so many "factoids"!
7. Anybody that knows pop knows that he is notorious for saying things like this: "Like my dad always said, I came into this world naked and broke and if I leave naked and broke I figure I just about broke even."
8. He is the ultimate "handyman".
9. He is a total patriot, he takes great pride in being a Vietnam Vet and always reminds us of how fortunate we are to live in such a great country.
10. He is a great father, he loves his children and family as it continues to grow.
